What is Venturing?
Venturing is an inclusive co-ed program through Scouting America for youth age 14 to 21.
Venturing provides exciting and meaningful activities that help youth pursue special interests, grow, develop leadership skills, and connect with their community.
Guiding Principles
Venturing uses the ALPS model -
Adventure - Mentoring, leading, and participating in crew-led adventures.
Leadership - Ongoing leadership development through training, mentoring, and hands-on leadership.
Personal Growth - Goal-setting in support of personal growth.
Service - Leading and participating in community service.
Crew 1252 meets
alternating Wednesdays at 6pm.
